Harry Basil and Spencer James

Co-Host: Harry Basil

Comedian Impressionist HARRY BASIL “lives the movies”. He’s a human movie trailer, taking his audience on a wild romp through current and classic MOVIES, with a trunk of outrageous props and costumes that could fill a sound stage. Harry physically and vocally takes on a variety of unforgettable movie characters, pulling unsuspecting audience members on stage to act as his costars. Harry was Rodney Dangerfield’s exclusive opening act for 17 years, appearing in two of Rodney’s HBO specials as well as co-writing, producing and directing five of Rodney Dangerfield’s films including the hit soccer comedy Ladybugs. Harry is the show runner on the new kid’s sitcom, “The Jadagrace Show” as well as the new Andrew Dice Clay reality series, “Unbelievable”. He just produced the recently wrapped comedy film, “Sleeping Around” starring fellow comedians Michael Mckean, Bill Bellamy & Bryan Callen. Harry has appeared numerous times on A&E’s “Evening at The Improv”, Comedy Central, Showtime, and closed the show twice to standing ovations at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Harry Basil has headlined casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Lake Tahoe and opened for such superstars as, Liza Minelli, The Pointer Sisters, Beach Boys, Gloria Estefan, Chuck Berry, Julio Iglesies, and fellow Jersey Boy Frankie Vallie.

It's not just a dose of jokes. It's Martin and Lewis, with a little dash of Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. mixed in. Spencer James blends both music and dance into his stand-up for a show that's both anti "jobs" and yet pro "fat kids." Mixing in an a Capella voice with a sharp tongue, Spencer has entertained audiences all over the country, from fishermen in Dutch Harbor, AK, made famous by the hit TV show Deadliest Catch, to our troops in Hawaii while lying on the sand for the very first episode of Lost. While being sensitive to a lady's needs, he also somehow winds up saying the most insensitive thing at the worst possible moment. His reasoning for this? Who knows, guess you'll find out at the show.
